This dataset contains leaf stable isotope (δ¹³C, δ¹⁵N) and elemental composition (carbon and nitrogen content, C:N ratio) data for two dominant high-arctic dwarf shrubs, Dryas octopetala L. and Salix polaris Wahlenb. Samples were collected repeatedly during the peak of the growing season (July) from 2021 to 2024 at a continuous permafrost site in the Brogger Peninsula, near Ny-Alesund, Svalbard

This dataset contains stable isotope (δ¹³C, δ¹⁵N) and elemental composition (carbon and nitrogen content, C:N ratio) data for soil samples. Samples were collected during the peak of the growing season (July) in 2021 and 2022 at the CCT continuous permafrost site in the Brøgger Peninsula, near Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard. The dataset distinguishes between three soil categories: bare soil, soil collected beneath the high-arctic dwarf shrub Dryas octopetala L., and soil collected beneath Salix polaris Wahlenb.

ISotopic and physical-chemical MOnitoring of GLACial drainages and sea water in the Ny-Ålesund area (Svalbard) (ISMOGLAC) Sampling and in-situ measurements on snow and water, performed into both Kongsfjorden and glacial streams that originate in supraglacial, englacial and subglacial zones of different glaciers (Midtre Lovenbreen, Austre broggerbreen, Vestre Broggerbreen, Kongsvegen). Dataset concerns water isotopes signature of snow and Kongsfjorden water and physical-chemical data of the latter.

Arctic Present Climate Change and Past Extreme Events (ARCA) CD4 core was micromilled at 200 μm increments using a micro-milling method (Drysdale et al., 2012). The stable isotope composition of the powders was measured on CO2 gas released by reaction with 105% H3PO4 at 70°C, which was measured using a mass spectrometer. Isotopic results are reported using the conventional δ-notation in per mille (‰), with reference to the Vienna Pee Dee Belemnite (V -PDB) standard. Instrument : MC-ICPMS, Nu-Instruments Plasma, Finnigan GasBench Parameter : Th**230/U**238 and U**234/U**238 activity ratios, (δ**13)C and (δ**18)O
